How does ordering work in the Mercedes-Benz Online Store?

The ordering process in our online store is simple, so you can find your way to your new dream car quickly, easily and conveniently. You'll get an overview here. Your reservation request comprises the following steps:

  1. Vehicle selection
    You select the vehicle of your choice from the wide range of available vehicles.

  2. Select your preferred authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer
    Select your preferred authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer for the vehicle delivery.

  3. Select your preferred payment method
    Cash purchase

    If you would like to pay for your desired vehicle directly from your own funds, you can easily do this by transferring the invoice amount after you have made your vehicle reservation. Our customer service will clarify all the necessary details with you.

  4. Check shopping cart
    Check your desired vehicle and the selected payment option one final time.

  5. Login or register
    Register to proceed with the vehicle reservation. In this step, enter all the necessary information about yourself and, if applicable, as a commercial individual customer.

  6. Check all details and complete the reservation
    Before completing the reservation of your desired vehicle, recheck all details including your personal or commercial data, and correct them if necessary. Complete the reservation easily by clicking on the button "Order with obligation to pay". By doing so, you agree to the reservation conditions of Mercedes-Benz AG and take note of the further information, the cancellation policy and the cancellation form as well as the data protection notices. By completing the reservation process in the Mercedes-Benz Online Store, you are making a binding offer to Mercedes-Benz AG to conclude a contract with them.

    By concluding the reservation contract, Mercedes-Benz AG is obliged not to sell the vehicle to any other party in accordance with the reservation conditions, starting with your declaration of acceptance, and not to increase the purchase price stated in the Mercedes-Benz Online Store. The reservation terms and conditions of Mercedes-Benz AG are applicable.

    The reservation data and terms and conditions of Mercedes-Benz AG (incl. cancellation policy for private customers) can be viewed again in the confirmation of receipt. These documents will be sent to you by email after you have completed your reservation.

  7. Next steps
    Your reservation will be confirmed immediately by email. This confirmation of receipt does not constitute the conclusion of a contract, i.e. no declaration of acceptance of the offer by Mercedes-Benz AG. The contract for the vehicle reservation is only concluded when our customer service has confirmed the acceptance of the reservation within the period specified in the reservation terms and conditions with another email. Our customer service will inform you as soon as possible if your offer for a reservation could not be accepted.

 

Do I enter into a legally binding contract by sending the order?

By completing the reservation process in the Mercedes-Benz Online Store, you are making a binding offer to Mercedes-Benz AG to conclude a contract with them. The contract for the vehicle reservation is only concluded when our customer service has confirmed the acceptance of the reservation within the period specified in the reservation terms and conditions with another email.

 

How does vehicle reservation work?

At the end of the ordering process, you start a reservation request for the vehicle you have selected. The reservation gives you the right to purchase the vehicle you have selected at the price quoted or to lease or finance it on the basis of that price.

Payment of the purchase price for the vehicle shall be made after conclusion of a purchase contract for the vehicle and invoicing by Mercedes-Benz AG. The reservation terms and conditions of Mercedes-Benz AG are applicable, which you can view in the order process and in the email with the reservation confirmation.

 

I have reserved the vehicle: what happens next?

You will receive the forms for ordering the vehicle you have reserved from our customer service by email and can now sign them electronically. After you have received the order confirmation, your selected authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer will contact you to discuss registration and delivery. As soon as the full payment has been received in our account, the vehicle can be registered and handed over to you.

 

Can I also purchase a vehicle as a commercial individual customer via the Mercedes-Benz Online Store?

Yes, even as a commercial individual customer we offer you the option to purchase your desired vehicle online. For corporations, this applies with the restriction that our contract partner must have sole right of representation.

By pressing the button 'Order with obligation to pay' you start the reservation request for your desired vehicle. We will confirm your reservation by email. 

 

How does the reservation become an order?

Our customer service will contact you after confirming receipt of your vehicle reservation in order to clarify further detailed questions regarding the order of your desired vehicle. You will then receive your personal order forms. All you need is to sign these documents and then send them back to us.

 

Purchase:

If you would like to pay for your dream vehicle directly from your own funds, you can do so simply by transferring the invoice amount or by using the payment method agreed with your authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer.

As a customer of the Mercedes-Benz Online Store, you naturally have the option to change or cancel your order if you are a consumer. We are happy to explain the details below.

 

Can I change my order?

We will be happy to clarify the details with you directly and explain your options. You can reach us by phone (1800 400110) and by email (mercedes-benz-vietnam@mercedes-benz.com). We are available from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 9 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm.

 

Can I cancel my order?

Consumers can cancel their order within 14 days without giving any reason. For more detailed information, please refer to the cancellation policy.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged for this repayment. We may refuse to transfer the refund until we have received the goods or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the end of the fourteen-day period. We shall bear the costs of returning the goods. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking the condition, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

The right of cancellation only applies to consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to their commercial nor to their self-employed professional activity.
