One of the most action-packed events, Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience, is taking place from the 8th March 2012 at Gia Lam Helicopter Airport, especially on the most-awaited return of the motor racing instructor Peter Hackett and his teammates. This is the 8th consecutive year Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience has been organized by Mercedes-Benz Vietnam.

The whole program initiated by the top luxury auto maker is set to bring professional instructions on understanding safety capabilities of a Mercedes over many critical driving situations, without forgetting to take away your breath well and truly.
Mr. Michael Behrens, the newly appointed General Director & CEO of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam said: “Mercedes-Benz is the pioneer of automotive safety. Exclusively, the event this time welcomed Mr. Gunther Holtorf – the World’s Guinness Record traveller driving his 1988 Mercedes G-class off-road king around the globe. He has been travelling across Vietnam which is the 198th of countries and teritories having his arrival. He is famous for extraordinary passion and borderless experiences on the long-living G-class whose second seat row was modified to be a mobile bedroom with storage of all personal stuff, supply of more than 400 genuine MB spare parts available for anytime installation. After leaving the 210th destination next year expectedly, the Mercedes G-class 300 GD powered by a 3.0L 5 cylinders diesel engine would be granted a rest at the Stuttgart-based Mercedes-Benz Museum in Germany.

This half day driving event has been specifically designed to provide participants with the skills and experiences required to help them drive safely and confidently in the modern world.

A range of dynamic handling and performance exercises have been purposely developed to challenge driver skills and demonstrate the technology and handling capabilities of the Mercedes-Benz range.

Mercedes-Benz provides you with a selection of 19 Mercedes vehicles - wide ranges of the latest C-class, E-class, SLK roadster, 4-wheel-drive GLKs, top luxury saloon S-class, etc. for each part of the course. Whilst the fundamental theory work is completed in the first 30 minute, just a few moments afterward you will begin to learn everything about the interaction between driver and vehicle under the face-to-face training provided by competent instructors – with slaloming, lane changing, braking or overteer and understeer.
