1. Communication strategy
• Formulate communication strategy & ensure synergy effect with marketing activities and other company’s activities
• Update global guidelines from DCAA & GNB network
2. Media relationship building
• Set up regular business and non-business meetings with journalists in HCMC, Hanoi
• Set aside budget to actively participate in media’s own programs, e.g. safety driving contest,…
• Flowers, gifts (prior-approved) for journalists on special occasions (birthday, journalist’s day…)
3. Press test drives:
• Organize press test drives of MB products in HCMC, Hanoi
• Set up ready-to-use cars for test drives, and quick, easy procedures fro press
4. Interview GD, S&M Director
• Regular interviews of GD, S&M Directors by media about MB products, events, positive sales performance & VAMA issues
5. Ensure number and positiveness of published information
• Recommend topics for the media, write articles in their style and send for publication
• Work closely with journalists and PR agency to ensure positive appearance of intended news/articles on all media channels
6. MB worldwide news update to local media
• Daily monitoring of DC- MB worldwide news, articles on intranet, internet & update on local press
7. MBV website update:
• Ensure timely provision of correct information to IT colleagues, CRM Asst Manager for uploading onto MBV website
8. Support retail PR:
• Support and train dealer people in dealers PR events
• Ensure one voice communication
9. Further establish and manage the MCC (Mercedes Celebrity Club)
10. Development of an early warning system in co-operation with After Sales
