Special offer in Mercedes-Benz Star Week

Big saving up to USD40,000

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) has attracted its customers in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi when launching the “Star Week” campaign in March as an approach to help customers make quicker decision to buy cars before the new Special Consumption Tax Law takes effect from April 1.
The Star Week is applied for customers in HCMC who join the Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience during 3 – 8 March, and for those who register for a test drive at Mercedes-Benz Autohaus dealers in Hanoi from 14 – 21 March 2009. Specifically, MBV offers 5% off for passenger cars and USD300 off for Sprinter 311.
The offer for passenger cars is valid for the C200K Elegance, C230 Avantgarde, E-class, S350L, CLS-class, R-class, M-class, GL-class and SLK-class.
The campaign is applicable only to orders and deposit during the “Star Week” and invoices in March.

Dr. Udo Loersch, General Director of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam said: “With the effect of the upcoming SCT change, the price will increase drastically. Customers should buy the cars early in order to save a big amount, up to USD 15,000 for S-class, CLS-class, ML-class, SLK-class and around USD 40,000 for R-class and GL-class”. This will be the biggest saving of the year when buying Mercedes-Benz cars.
“Because the tax imposed on imported passenger cars will be higher, especially the R-class and GL-class’s will be from 30% to 60%”, he added.
The Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience 2009 is taking place in full excitement and joy for customers in HCMC at TSN airport from 3rd to 8th March, 2009.
In the first two days, 150 participants enjoyed very much their worthy half-day training with international experts, conducted by Peter Hackett, the former race-drivers and also main instructor of the program. Similar to the Hanoi driving event last year, this year the program in HCMC aims to train participants for advanced driving
skills via handling the most critical emergency driving situations through practical exercises.
