Mercedes-Benz Vietnam will celebrate Year of the Tiger in a very unique, eye-catching way: to dress its GLK 4MATIC like a tiger and put it in an oval cage with the board “Don’t feed the beast”.
During Tet, this “tiger” will be on display in all Mercedes-Benz dealers and some public places in Hanoi and HCMC such as: Lotte Mart Distict 7, Vincom Tower… And to add the fun, from time to time this “GLK tiger” will roar like a real one for the public to enjoy.
“We try to adapt our activities to fit Vietnamese market,” said Dr. Udo Loersch, General Director of MB Vietnam. “Every Lunar New Year has its own meaning to Vietnamese people. To represent the Tiger, we need something specially strong and “off-road”, and our GLK 4MATIC is a perfect symbol.”
GLK 4MATIC is the new all-wheel-drive model of Mercedes-Benz introduced to Vietnam in June 2009, just a few months after Germany. With more than 50 units sold every month on average, this is one of the best-selling luxury cars of Mercedes-Benz in Vietnam.
