Park Hyatt Saigon is the first hotel to use the imported top-of-the-range S-Class fleet for premium transport
A handover ceremony of a fleet including five premium S-Class business saloons between Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) and Park Hyatt Saigon (PHS) took place at the hotel this morning.
At the ceremony, Dr. Udo Loersch, General Director of MBV said: “This is a new benchmark in Vietnam’s premium transport. The demand from international travellers is already there.
“S-Class, the flagship saloon of Mercedes-Benz, is the world’s best car. Inside the S-Class is like travelling first-class.
“I believe this event will be the start of a bigger trend – the move to the next level of hospitality services, to satisfy the really high-class travellers. It is time Vietnam thinks seriously about it. This will add a lot of value to the country’s tourism industry.”
The event, going far beyond a normal handover ceremony, has really marked a new step forward for Park Hyatt Saigon and Mercedes-Benz Vietnam, who shake hands together to bring the hospitality service level to a new height.

In the context that the hospitality business in Vietnam is developing strongly yet the competition is even stronger, the investment of Park Hyatt Saigon in a fleet of the top of the range model from Mercedes-Benz is a big investment decision. The contract of the whole fleet, valued at USD945,000, is proof that Park Hyatt Saigon distinguishes itself from others. This also provides good news in that the standard of the transportation services of five-star hotels in Vietnam has been taken to a new height, with Park Hyatt Saigon taking the lead.

The S-Class provided to PHS is among the first S-Class fleet imported by MBV since its import car business opened earlier this year.
