Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class Off-roader: all-wheel drive

4MATIC all-wheel drive

The 4MATIC drive train in the GLK300 is among the particularly efficient four-wheel drive systems from Mercedes-Benz. The basic drive torque split is 45 to 55 percent to the front and rear axles, respectively. This and its intelligent interaction with the Electronic Stability Program ESP®, Acceleration Skid Control system, as well as the electronic traction control 4ETS, all enable effortlessly superior vehicle handling - under the most diverse conditions. The four-wheel drive system distributes the driving force optimally to the four drive wheels, thus increasing traction.
